eBayers Donate Sales Proceeds to Haiti

As a follow up to my blog about eBay Ink last Thursday, the latest issue of the eBay Ink blog tells how eBayers are stepping up to the plate to help the Haitian people after their devastating earthquake earlier this month.

Yes, you can buy, sell, or donate items while on eBay with the proceeds being sent to The American Red Cross, Save the Children, and other nonprofits doing relief work in Haiti. So far, over 326,000 donors have raised over $1,000,000 and climbing, for the work in Haiti.

How can you get in on this worthwhile effort? Click here to get to a special eBay page to learn how to help in Haiti by simply buying or selling something on eBay. You can also make a cash donation on the same page if you prefer.

In addition to the eBay effort, Paypal Checkout is waiving the payment processing fees for donations to Save the Children. You can also make donations to Save the Children through Amazon Checkout, and Google Checkout if you use those services. Click here for the Save the Children donation page.
